Your Photos: We collect the image files you upload for the sole purpose of converting them into 3D-printed lithophanes.

Usage Data: Like most websites, we may collect basic info about how you interact with our site (IP address, browser type) to improve your experience.

2. How We Use Your Photos

Your photos are treated with the highest level of confidentiality:

Production Only: We only use your images to create your custom 3D print.

No Third-Party Sharing: We never sell, rent, or share your photos with outside marketing firms or third parties.

Internal Access: Only the person operating the 3D printer sees your image during the "slicing" and printing process.

3. Data Retention (How long we keep things)

Photo Deletion: To ensure you are happy with your order, we typically keep your image file for 30 days after shipping in case a reprint is needed due to shipping damage. After this period, files are permanently deleted from our local production server.

Order Records: We keep basic transaction data (name, address, items purchased) for tax and accounting purposes as required by law.

4. Social Media & Gallery Use

We love showing off the magic of lithophanes! However, we will never post a photo of your custom print on our social media or website gallery without your explicit written permission. If we think your print looks amazing and want to share it, we will email you to ask first.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and secure servers to protect your personal information and image uploads. While no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, we take every reasonable precaution to keep your "memory data" safe.

You have the right to:

Ask us to delete your photos immediately after your order is confirmed.

Request a copy of the personal data we have on file for you.

Opt-out of any future marketing emails (if we ever start a newsletter!).
